Global Professional Consultants seeks a Mechanical Quality Engineer to join a leading general contractor on a Hyper-scale Data Centre project in Germany. The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and 5+ years in QA/QC for mechanical systems, especially HVAC and pipework.

Ireland/EU work eligibility is required. The position offers a competitive salary range (€75,000–€85,000 DOE), a living away allowance, 10/4 rotation, and strong career progression with CPD

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in Mechanical Quality/QA/QC roles on large builds.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, testing, and commissioning, especially HVAC and pipework.

Mansioni

• Prepare handover inspection, test documentation, and O&M manuals for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate mechanical systems commissioning with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Review and finalize inspection and test documentation for HVAC, plumbing, and related building services.
• Issue final handover packages to the client.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements during installation and inspection.
• Conduct quality inspections and manage defect identification and close-out.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities across mechanical systems.
• Liaise with construction management, subcontractors, and clients on quality issues.
• Attend quality meetings and contribute to weekly progress reports.
• Support continuous improvement and QA processes throughout the project lifecycle.
