Job summary

Anduril Industries in Dublin seeks a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical team. You will design rugged edge technology equipment, lead projects, and mentor junior engineers, with responsibilities spanning enclosure design, PCBA liaison, BOM handover, and supplier collaboration.

The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering and at least seven years of R&D design experience, with expertise in 3D modelling and PLM tooling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Primary role is enclosure design using mechanical design principles and processes.
• Liaise with Hardware team on PCBA & cable design.
• Generate parts on PLM system.
• Liaise with suppliers to get custom parts built.
• Prototype assembly or disassembly with build instructions.
• Validate design through environmental testing per MIL-810-H or similar.
