Qualifications

• 5–7 years of mechanical design experience.
• Strong background in CNC machining, tooling, and mass production design.
• DFM experience in manufacturing processes.
• Experience with sheet metal, plastics, and machined assemblies documentation and maintenance.
• GD&T and ISO GPS standards knowledge.
• CAD proficiency; SolidWorks and FEA/thermal analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for new technology platforms, including concept development, detailed design, and release to manufacturing.
• Develop complex mechanical solutions across sheet metal, plastics, and machined components.
• Diagnose and resolve design and manufacturability issues with corrective actions.
• Support integration of new technologies into manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure cost effectiveness and manufacturability at scale.
• Ensure design documentation complies with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional problem solving.
