Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the Future Technologies team at Cork. You will lead the mechanical design and development of next generation power platforms from concept through production, collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver manufacturable, regulatory-compliant solutions.

You will apply your expertise in sheet metal, plastics and machined assemblies, drive design for manufacturability, and mentor engineers while staying current with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of mechanical design experience with mass production awareness.
• Experience with sheet metal, plastic, and machined assemblies.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and MTM.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for new technology platforms from concept to manufacturing.
• Develop complex solutions across sheet metal, plastics, and machined parts.
• Diagnose design and manufacturability issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and AE standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
