Job summary

AECOM in Dublin is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings + Engineering team. You will contribute to designing and delivering mechanical building services across healthcare, education, transport, and data centre projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop energy-efficient HVAC and plumbing systems, ensure compliance with Irish and UK standards, and support project delivery from design through to client communications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering mechanical design solutions in a building services consultancy.
• Knowledge of Irish and UK building regulations and standards.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and delivery of mechanical building services across healthcare, education, transport and data centre sectors.
• Produce designs, calculations, specifications, reports and documentation to high standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, civil, architectural and other disciplines for integrated design solutions.
• Develop energy-efficient mechanical systems including HVAC, public health, heating and cooling.
