EDC Engineering Design Consultants Ltd. seeks an Associate Director to lead Mechanical Design across multiple projects from feasibility through construction, ensuring robust technical delivery and profitability.

You will mentor engineers, oversee BIM coordination with M&E teams, manage resources, and maintain strong client relationships while reporting to the Executive Director. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 6+ years in building services design, 3+ years of leadership, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; PM and master's is desirable.
• 6+ years in Building Services consultancy design.
• 3+ years of team management experience and delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery of Mechanical Engineering design from feasibility to construction across multiple projects.
• Ensure high-quality, technically robust project delivery, independently or in multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as Project Leader to meet client brief, programme, and budget.
• Ensure projects are delivered profitably and in line with commercial and contractual requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineers, supporting team growth and performance.
• Oversee resourcing, workload planning, and coordination with internal departments.
• Lead liaison with BIM and modelling teams on M&E drawing production and delivery.
• Represent EDC at meetings, workshops, site visits, and industry engagements.
