Hero Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Materials Scientist / Formulation Chemist to join an R&D team at the interface of materials science, chemistry and drug-device technologies. The role focuses on translating research into innovative materials and formulations with strong IP potential.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD with strong postdoctoral or industry experience, and a proven track record in developing new materials, formulations or drug delivery systems.
Formación
- PhD in a relevant discipline and strong postdoctoral or industry R&D experience.
- Track record in developing new materials, formulations or drug delivery systems.
- Excellent experimental and problem-solving skills; ability to own scientific projects.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop and optimise novel materials and formulations for R&D applications.
- Apply materials chemistry and formulation science to solve technical problems.
- Investigate interactions between materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Develop material+drug systems including drug-device combinations.
- Design and execute experiments to study properties and interactions.
- Contribute to IP development and invention disclosures.
