Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with significant related experience (8–12 years).
• Experience leading scientists and engineers in medical device R&D.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical leadership for development of advanced materials and technologies for medical devices.
• Define and manage the technology development portfolio from concept to transfer readiness.
• Lead applied research projects with robust planning, execution, and documentation.
• Partner with product development, engineering, operations, quality and marketing to integrate technologies into viable products.
• Coach and evaluate performance of a multidisciplinary team.
