Job summary

VPK Packaging Group in Limerick is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our Corrugator, Conversion, and Engineering operations, overseeing about 95 employees. You will develop people, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability across shifts and office hours.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean expertise, and a proven track record in manufacturing excellence, safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large manufacturing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Flexibility to work across two shifts and office hours.
• Experience across production, engineering and operational performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production and engineering leadership teams.
• Build a high-performance culture with clear accountability and ownership.
• Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and team development.
• Create collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, and Quality.
• Lead manufacturing performance across safety, OTIF, waste, quality, OEE, and productivity.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, SMED, and 5S.
• Drive proactive maintenance and asset reliability culture.
• Ensure the operation delivers against customer expectations and site objectives.
