Job summary

Atlantic Aviation Group in Galway seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to provide broad financial leadership across Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering and SG&A. You will own month-end close, produce monthly management accounts, and guide budgeting with a strong manufacturing focus.

This role offers hybrid working, pension contributions and health insurance, with direct reporting to the No.1 finance executive on site and significant influence across departments.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in management accounts preparation.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close and monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Analyse gross margin by product and customer to support decisions.
• Contribute to annual budget formation and cost variance analysis.
• Lead inventory valuations, counts, ERP reconciliations to minimise losses.
• Partner with department leaders to manage budgets and cost drivers.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for new product development and pricing.
• Manage fixed asset register and depreciations.
