Job summary

Stryker in Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing to provide advanced technical and engineering support for manufacturing projects. The role focuses on Six-Sigma based process improvements, line performance monitoring, and development of GMP-compliant documentation.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, plus strong project management and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven project management skills delivering business-critical projects.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a world-class manufacturing group using Six-Sigma tools.
• Line performance monitoring and execution of structured event plans to remediate systemic issues.
• Develop and implement SOPs and GMP-compliant work instructions.
• Lead technical improvements under the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).
• Provide engineering leadership to Process/Maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing/Equipment Engineers.
• Support for new Product and new process introductions per the NPD process.
• Process validation activities (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and related documentation.
• Manage projects (value stream and cross-functional) from scoping to handover.
