Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven Project Management skills.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply Value Centred Engineering to achieve opportunities in quality, service and cost.
• Work with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives.
• Assist in developing a world class manufacturing group proficient in process improvement and problem solving manufacturing issues using Six-Sigma tools.
• Provide technical leadership on product and process issues.
• Line performance monitoring and execution of event plans to remediate systemic issues.
• Develop and implement GMP-compliant SOPs and process work instructions.
• Lead Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) improvements.
• Transfer and implement processes from development or another facility.
• Provide technical leadership for Technicians and Engineers on the team.
• Conduct Gauge R&R studies and structured problem solving.
• Manage cross-functional projects including scoping, budgeting, and handover.
• Interface with cross-functional teams and vendors, ensuring training is documented.
