Job summary

Viatris Dublin Respiratory is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical solutions for high-speed, highly automated manufacturing equipment. You will mentor others and drive ownership of the process, balancing innovation with quality and safety compliance.

You will collaborate across functions to resolve complex problems, prepare performance reports, and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Engineering.
• 5+ years in high-speed, highly automated drug or medical device filling/packaging.
• Experience driving manufacturing improvements with quality, validation, and maintenance systems.
• Able to plan with minimal supervision and drive projects to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good judgment.
• Experience reporting on manufacturing process improvements and deviations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification would be advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects on manufacturing equipment with a data-driven approach.
• Support the manufacturing process and develop equipment/process interactions to resolve complex issues.
• Prepare equipment performance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
• Manage multiple deadlines and set priorities, often autonomously.
• Promote cross-functional teamwork as an influential team member.
