Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Senior Associate in Assurance to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. You will be integral in delivering services and fostering client relationships while supporting personal and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified actuary with 3+ years of relevant experience in the life insurance or reinsurance market from either a consultancy or industry background. Solvency II and/or financial reporting experience are key. Experience of the Irish life (re)insurance market is an advantage.
• Ability to build strong client relationships (internal or external) and communicate analysis and insights to clients in plain English.
• Ability to develop and mentor junior staff, including technical training and performance management.
• Desire to build out propositions that meet client needs and develop viable, commercial, professional services.
• Strong IT (e.g., MS Excel and Word) and actuarial modelling skills.
• Strong technical, problem‑identification, analytical and solutioning skills.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to deliver quality work within timescales.
• Self‑motivated; takes responsibility for personal development in technical and broader consulting skills.
