Job summary

Raretec Recruitment is seeking a Life Actuarial Manager for a leading global professional services firm in Dublin. You will join the Risk Consulting team to manage actuarial projects and mentor juniors, delivering high-quality client outcomes.

You will work across life and non-life consulting engagements, collaborating with actuarial teams across the UK and Europe, and play a key role in business development and knowledge expansion within the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with a minimum of 3 years PQE and over 6 years total life experience
• Experience with IFRS 17 or related life insurance topics
• Strong technical and analytical abilities for complex modelling
• Proficient with actuarial software such as MoSes or Prophet

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects
• Drive production of client deliverables with emphasis on quality and teamwork
• Assist with management and development of junior colleagues
• Develop areas of technical excellence and contribute to research
• Engage with clients and promote firm strategy, services and values
• Lead client interactions and guide junior team members
• Work on assurance and business consulting projects across lines of service
