AbbVie seeks a Senior Manager, External Manufacturing to lead the relationship with and performance of its third-party manufacturers. You will be AbbVie's primary contact for several industrial partners, ensuring continuity of supply, quality, regulatory compliance, manufacturing performance, and cost competitiveness in a strategic and operational role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech or related regulated industry.
• Sterile manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Aseptic processing experience is mandatory.
• Technology transfer experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third-party manufacturers with defined governance and channels.
• Coordinate forecasts, production schedules and delivery plans with Supply Chain and partners.
• Anticipate and manage operational risks to prevent supply disruptions.
• Lead governance and performance reviews with external manufacturers.
• Define and monitor KPIs covering quality, service, cost, capacity and lead times.
• Drive issue resolution and escalate as needed, with executive reporting.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Quality.
• Coordinate audits, quality reviews, deviations and CAPAs with timely actions.
• Lead technology transfers and strategic projects for external manufacturing.
