E‑Frontiers in Dublin seeks a Senior Manager / Deputy to Head of Data to lead a growing Data & Analytics team, delivering on the Data Strategy across Data Foundations, MI & Reporting, and Data Governance.
You will work closely with the Head of Data, taking responsibility for day-to-day leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring delivery against strategic priorities in a largely leadership and delivery capacity.
Level: Senior Manager / Deputy to Head of Data
We’re partnering with a leading Irish organisation that is making a significant investment in its Data & AI capability and is looking to appoint a Data & Analytics Manager to play a key leadership role within its growing Data team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you’ll act as their deputy and take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a team spanning Data Engineering, BI, Reporting and Data Analytics.
This is primarily a leadership, delivery and stakeholder management role rather than a hands-on engineering position. You’ll need enough technical depth to work credibly with engineers and BI specialists, while being commercially focused and comfortable engaging with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
The organisation is currently developing a modern data platform using Microsoft Azure, alongside major initiatives across Data Quality, MI & Reporting and AI.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of the Data Strategy Roadmap, including:
You’ll oversee delivery across three key areas:
Data Foundations & AI – supporting the continued development of the Microsoft Azure data platform and overseeing AI proof-of-concept and use-case delivery.
MI & Reporting – ensuring the reliable delivery of management information, dashboards, reporting and analytics to senior leadership.
Data Governance & Quality – driving data-quality remediation, establishing effective governance and embedding data ownership, lineage and quality controls across the organisation.
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience within financial services or another regulated environment would be particularly valuable.
Exposure to AI/ML delivery, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server and Power BI would also be advantageous, as would experience working within a larger group or multi-entity organisation.
This is a Dublin-based hybrid role, with regular office presence to lead the team and meet key stakeholders. Some occasional travel to other offices may be required.
This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting between technology, people and the business - leading a capable technical team while ensuring that major Data & AI initiatives move from strategy into successful delivery.
