RECRUITERS in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director – Corporate Accounting & Client Services to oversee accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of corporate clients. The role combines technical accounting expertise with people management and client relationship responsibilities, in a senior leadership capacity within an international business.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading teams, managing client relationships and taking ownership of financial reporting?

We're working with an established international financial services organisation seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director – Corporate Accounting & Client Services to join its growing operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager from a corporate services provider, outsourced accounting practice or financial accounting advisory environment to take on a senior leadership position within an international business.

The Role

You will take responsibility for overseeing accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of corporate clients, including SPVs, structured finance and investment holding entities.

Combining technical accounting expertise with people management and client relationship responsibilities, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing and developing a team of accounting professionals.
• Overseeing the preparation and review of management accounts, statutory financial statements and financial reporting.
• Taking ownership of corporate client portfolios, ensuring deadlines and service expectations are consistently met.
• Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, confidently managing queries, escalations and challenging situations.
• Coordinating audits, tax compliance requirements and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional service providers.
• Reviewing team performance, allocating workloads and ensuring appropriate controls and quality standards.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency and client service delivery.

About You

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have progressed into established management positions and are comfortable taking responsibility for both people and client relationships.

Ideally, you will have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in corporate accounting, management accounts and statutory financial reporting.
• A background in corporate services, outsourced accounting or financial accounting advisory.
• Proven experience directly managing and developing accounting teams.
• Experience independently managing external client relationships and accounting deliverables.
• Confidence handling demanding stakeholders, resolving issues and managing competing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions independently.

Experience with SPVs, structured finance, aviation or asset-backed financing structures would be advantageous.
