Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Ireland. You will manage a varied client portfolio, prepare year-end accounts, and lead management reporting, cash flow forecasting and budgeting.

The role requires a qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE, strong practice experience, and the ability to supervise two bookkeepers. A 10% bonus and up to €1,500 tax-free vouchers are on offer, with hybrid working and flexible hours.

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year end accounts
• Management accounts and reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Sales and business development
• Mergers and acquisitions project work
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Working with and supervising 2 bookkeepers within your team

Your Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years post qualification experience
• Strong practice experience is essential
• Experience across a varied client portfolio
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Confident dealing with clients and senior stakeholders
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills
• Industry experience would be a significant advantage
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is beneficial
• €65,000 to €75,000 salary, depending on experience
• 10% performance related bonus
• Up to €1,500 tax free voucher per year
• 8 days WFH per month following successful completion of 6 month probation
• Flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm
• Summer hours from June to September, with the option to finish around 12.30pm or 1pm on Fridays
