Job summary

GPC Finance, located in South Dublin, seeks an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant to join their supportive team. You will manage SME client portfolios, lead audit engagements, and oversee financial reporting and tax compliance.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements with a focus on quality client service and career progression within a long-established practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience in a practice setting.
• Strong accounts preparation and client management experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working with SME and owner-managed clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing ongoing accounting, compliance, and business support.
• Lead and coordinate a number of audit assignments for larger clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to completion in line with professional standards.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and financial reports, including providing outsourced accounting support to a key client.
• Oversee a broad range of tax compliance work, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns, while ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high-quality client service.
