Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Cork is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver timely and accurate project financial reporting across revenue, costs, budgets, forecasts, cashflow and margins.

You will analyse variances and risks, collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Project teams, and prepare monthly reporting packs including CVR and board reporting, while developing dashboards for finance and project management.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and reporting within a project-oriented environment.
• Ability to deliver clear, concise reporting to drive management decisions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; proficient with Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate project financial reporting, including revenue, costs, budgets, forecasts, cashflow, margin and project performance.
• Provide variance, trend and risk analysis by comparing project performance against budgets, tenders and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Project teams to validate data and ensure reliable reporting.
• Prepare monthly project reporting packs and support CVR, project reviews and board reporting.
• Develop and improve templates, dashboards and reporting tools used across finance and project management teams.

About Your New Job

What Skills You Need

Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reportingideally within a project-oriented environment. Proven ability to deliver clear and concise reporting to drive decision making at management level. Strong communication and coordination skills, with confidence in challenging and clarifying business-critical financial issues. Familiarity with financial systems (Business Central or similar) and proficiency in Excel/reporting tools.
