Job summary

Stewart Construction, a leading Irish contractor with over 120 years’ experience, seeks an experienced M&E Coordinator to join our site team on large-scale projects across Ireland. You will coordinate M&E subcontractors, review drawings, and help develop installation schedules to ensure work is delivered safely and on programme.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical, Building Services or Construction Management Engineering, with 5+ years’ experience on Irish sites, and a solid grasp

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Building Services or Construction Management Engineering.
• Health and safety awareness or training is advantageous.
• 5+ years' experience in M&E coordination on Irish construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E subcontractors to follow programme.
• Review M&E drawings for accuracy and buildability.
• Develop and maintain M&E installation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regs, BCAR and project specs.
• Participate in design reviews to flag clashes early.
• Liaise with design consultants to resolve queries.
• Monitor M&E quality throughout construction.
• Carry out site inspections for safety and workmanship.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and commissioning docs.
• Support Site Manager and Project Manager on M&E queries.
• Assist in commissioning plans and handover docs.
• Ensure certifications are completed and submitted.
