Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator for a large-scale construction project in Dublin. The role is permanent and based on-site with a leading Irish main contractor.

You will coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors, review drawings and specs, develop M&E installation programmes, ensure compliance with Irish regulations, and support design reviews and commissioning activities. Experience in M&E coordination within construction is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in an M&E coordination role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience working with M&E subcontractors, design teams and main contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
• Review M&E drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness and buildability.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of M&E installation programmes.
• Ensure M&E works comply with relevant Irish regulations, building control requirements, industry standards and project specifications.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates as required.
• Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with M&E-related queries and technical coordination.
