Job summary

Lirion Power seeks an accomplished M&A professional to lead acquisitions end to end for onshore renewable assets in Ireland. You will originate, structure and coordinate SPAs, SHAs and related advisory work through to signing and completion.

Responsibilities include managing deal teams, translating due diligence into deal positions, and presenting recommendations to the Executive Team. 8+ years’ experience and strong finance/legal background are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in large-scale M&A in renewable energy
• Experience negotiating SPAs/SHAs with counterparties
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across deal cycles
• Strong commercial acumen and valuation knowledge
• 8+ years’ experience in development, IPP, infra funds, banking or advisory

Responsibilities

• Define and execute M&A strategy for Lirion, including portfolio fit and value creation
• Lead acquisitions of onshore wind and solar assets from first contact to signing and completion
• Develop a pipeline via direct relationships with asset owners, developers and funds
• Negotiate SPAs, SHAs, and related documents, including price mechanics and warranties
• Project-manage the deal team across technical, legal, tax, financial, insurance and grid advisers
• Prepare investment committee papers and present recommendations to leadership
