Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Linux Platform & HLOS Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain a custom Linux software stack for next-generation SoCs and development platforms.

You will work on kernel drivers, device trees, boot firmware integration, and low-level debugging, collaborating with silicon, validation, and software teams to ensure reliable platform operation and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years experience in ASIC design/verification.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of ASIC experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of ASIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Enable and maintain a custom Linux software stack for platform enablement and validation.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize kernel drivers and low-level platform software.
• Debug hardware/firmware/bootloaders to resolve platform issues.
• Develop Device Tree configurations and platform-specific software components.
• Design telemetry, monitoring, and automation tools to improve observability.
• Build tooling that interfaces with hardware debuggers to collect data.
