Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability and scalability across a data platform. You will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, while mentoring teammates and applying SRE best practices.

You will work with AWS, Snowflake, and a suite of observability tools to improve incident response, monitoring, and platform resilience in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
Proficient in SRE culture and implementation within apps.
Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .Net.
Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support SRE workflows.
Ability to validate AI-assisted recommendations while ensuring data sensitivity.
Knowledge of cloud/data platforms and observability tools.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).

Responsibilities

Guide and support peers in designing reliable systems and best practices.
Collaborate to deploy and automate CI/CD pipelines with reliable deployments.
Apply AI capabilities to speed incident triage and post-incident analysis.
Identify reliability risks and implement improvements tied to SLOs.
