Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with governance.
Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows.
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and practical cloud-native experience.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
Develops secure, high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operational outcomes.
Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and automation capabilities to improve value.
Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues to improve stability.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
