Job summary

Poulet Vous in Cork City is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen in our bustling eatery. You will oversee kitchen operations, develop the menu, train staff, and ensure high standards of service and sanitation as we grow our brand.

Based in our Reardens location, this full-time role focuses on delivering brunch, lunch and dinner with a scratch-made menu while maintaining efficiency and cost control. Cork-based candidates with leadership experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Advanced / Higher Certificate preferred.
• 6 years experience as a chef preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing corporate bookings and events.
• Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
• Providing training to new staff to facilitate quick acclimation
• Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
• Help develop and maintain the menu
• Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
• Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
