Job summary

HRM Search Partners partnered with a fast-growing Dublin-based IoT business to hire a Senior Solutions Engineer for a 6-month contract. You will bridge commercial strategy and technical delivery, leading discovery, solution design, and architectural proposals for major opportunities.

You will collaborate with Account Management, Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to translate complex customer requirements into pragmatic implementations using the platform and API ecosystem, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, or technical consulting in SaaS or high-growth tech environments.
• Strong API & SaaS architecture knowledge across cloud architectures, APIs, webhooks, data pipelines and integrations.
• Proven ability to run technical workshops and articulate complex engineering concepts to executives and product teams.
• Commercial & pragmatic mindset to balance technical rigor with business outcomes.
• Experience with IoT, hardware integration, or connected products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with prospective enterprise clients to uncover integration requirements and goals.
• Architect tailored solution proposals, API integration models, and data flow frameworks on top of the platform.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to demonstrate technical feasibility and value.
• Deliver high-impact technical presentations, live product demos, and PoCs.
• Identify integration risks and delivery constraints with Product and Engineering.
• Support onboarding and create reusable integration guides and assets.
• Capture customer feedback for product roadmaps.
