Job summary

Savills Ireland is seeking an experienced Interior Architect to join our Building and Project Consultancy team in Dublin. The role will lead interior design projects across commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and mixed-use developments from concept through to completion.

You will provide design leadership, manage client relationships, oversee delivery and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of design, functionality and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' professional interior design experience.
• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architectural Technology or related.
• Significant experience within commercial workplace, retail, hospitality and/or mixed-use sectors.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept through to completion.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from feasibility and concept development through to construction and project completion.
• Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Lead client briefings, workshops, presentations and stakeholder engagement meetings.
• Develop innovative, commercially viable and client-focused design solutions.
• Produce and oversee design concepts, mood boards, space plans, technical drawing packages and design specifications.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement activities and consultant coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Project Management, Agency, Property Management and Building Consultancy.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, engineers, suppliers and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, Health & Safety requirements and industry best practice.
• Undertake site inspections and oversee the implementation of design solutions during construction phases.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development activities.
