Job summary

Cumming Group in Ireland's Dublin team is seeking an Estimator to join our cost management and estimating group. You will work on multiple projects, developing budgets, cost models, and detailed estimates during pre-construction phases, with emphasis on accuracy and value for clients.

You will assess project requirements, perform material takeoffs, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver competitive bids while managing risks and maintaining strong client relationships across the project

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, cost planning and budgeting for construction projects.
• Ability to develop high-level budgets from limited design information.
• Strong client and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, cost models, and order-of-magnitude estimates during pre-construction.
• Evaluate project specifications and plans to understand scope.
• Prepare cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Lead bid strategy and assemble bid packages with deadlines.
• Maintain client relationships and provide reporting and cost management insights.
