Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is seeking a Senior IT Analyst for a fully onsite role in South Dublin. You will own day‑to‑day technology services, provide hands-on support to users, and partner with internal teams and external IT partners to improve IT services.

The role emphasizes ownership, incident resolution, and collaboration across Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, and hardware, with potential ITIL/ServiceNow familiarity and a focus on resilient IT operations.

Qualifications

• Experience within IT Operations, Infrastructure Support, Desktop Support or IT Service Delivery.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, hardware and networking.
• Experience working within an ITSM environment, including Incident, Request and Change Management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and see issues through to resolution.
• Knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, cybersecurity, IT asset management or Disaster Recovery would be advantageous.
• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of IT incidents, service requests and operational issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and professionally.
• Provide hands-on support across Microsoft 365, Windows, end-user devices, networking, meeting rooms and hardware.
• Manage the full IT hardware lifecycle, including deployments, replacements, repairs, inventory and asset management.
• Support Joiner, Mover & Leaver processes, ensuring users have the right access and equipment.
• Work closely with third-party technology providers and internal IT teams to maintain reliable and effective IT services.
• Support IT projects, technology upgrades, office moves and infrastructure initiatives.
• Assist with Disaster Recovery, business continuity and resilience testing.
• Identify operational risks and proactively recommend improvements to IT services and processes.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, controls and knowledge articles.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation’s IT service and user experience.

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 base and package

We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Analyst to join a busy and growing technology team in South Dublin. This is a hands-on, business-facing IT Operations role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day technology services, provide high-quality support to users, and work closely with internal technology teams and external IT partners. It’s an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to step beyond traditional desktop support and take greater ownership across IT operations, infrastructure, vendors, projects and service improvement.

Please note: This is a fully onsite role, 5 days per week in South Dublin.
