Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Sr. Associate, IAM Engineer - Identity Governance to help secure and govern user access across enterprise systems.

You will work with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to implement identity governance, assist with access provisioning, and improve security processes. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with strong technical fundamentals, keen analytical thinking, and a desire to develop deep IAM/IGA expertise, contributing to McKesson's Zero

Qualifications

• 2+ years of identity and access management or related technology experience.
• Foundational understanding of authentication, authorization, least privilege, access controls, and risk management.
• Experience troubleshooting issues and analyzing logs, reports, or operational data.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and operation of Identity Governance and Access Management solutions.
• Assist with user access provisioning, deprovisioning, role changes, and access reviews.
• Investigate and resolve access-related issues, workflow failures, and data discrepancies.
• Support access certification campaigns and governance activities by validating data and tracking remediation.
• Onboard applications to identity governance platforms and document access requirements.
• Analyze identity and access data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop technical documentation and runbooks for IAM processes.
• Assist with audit and compliance activities and provide evidence for control validation.
• Use scripting, reporting, or automation to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement process improvements.
