Qualifications

• BSc in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Occupational Safety & Health.
• Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
• Experience dealing with Regulatory Bodies.
• ISO 45001 knowledge or experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all activity related to Health & Safety on site.
• Represent the company during audits/inspections by external agencies.
• Coordinate ISO 45001 IMS and ensure effective safety management.
• Plan, manage and complete HSE audits in line with the audit plan.
• Attend daily operations meetings to report safety status and actions.
• Conduct daily safety walks with supervisors and operatives.
• Produce weekly/monthly safety performance reports.
• Support PPE tendering and safety specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and training.
