Job summary

Health Service Executive in Ireland invites applications for a General Manager, HR, to lead the HR function in the Dublin & South East region. The post holder will oversee senior HR services and provide expert guidance to senior managers, driving cross‑cutting people initiatives.

We require extensive public service HR experience, with strengths in recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, policy implementation and change management.

Qualifications

• Senior level HR leadership experience within a large public service or similarly regulated environment.
• Delivery of generalist HR services and expert guidance to senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR services across a large regional function.
• Drive delivery of HR programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Contribute to HR strategy, workforce planning and policy implementation.
• Lead change initiatives and organisational redesign where required.
