Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking an experienced Home Services Manager to lead non-clinical nursing home operations in Dublin. You’ll drive occupancy, oversee budgets, and manage support services while ensuring a high-quality resident and family experience.

You’ll collaborate with the Person in Charge and report to the COO in a visible, on-site leadership role. You’ll oversee housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and administration teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, health and safety, and HACCP

Qualifications

• A degree in Healthcare Management, Business or a related discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in a senior health or social care role, ideally managing a residential care setting.
• Proven full budget and P&L responsibility, including occupancy growth and cost control.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams and managing employee relations.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulation, health and safety, fire safety and HACCP.
• A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage; Fair Deal, NTPF or HSE contracting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take lead responsibility for occupancy by building referral networks with hospitals, GPs and HSE services.
• Own the home’s budget and financial performance, including payroll, purchasing and resident accounts.
• Lead and develop housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and administration teams.
• Oversee health and safety, risk management, food safety and upkeep of the premises.
• Work with HR on recruitment, training and staff engagement, fostering a person-centred culture.
• Deputise for the Person in Charge and participate in senior management on-call rota.
