Job summary

n8n is seeking a Senior Engineer in the Growth team to ideate, build and iterate on product experiences that turn users into long-term customers. You’ll own high-impact parts of the Cloud journey—from signup and onboarding to billing and in-product experiences.

This hands-on role collaborates with product, design, data, marketing, and engineering to accelerate n8n’s self-serve growth engine, shipping experiments and measuring outcomes on activation and retention.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue or React (plus HTML/CSS/UI libraries).
• You’ve owned growth metrics: activation, retention, or revenue, on a growth or PLG team at a SaaS company.
• You’ve shipped experiments yourself, from hypothesis to ship/kill decision.
• Product mindedness: You can ship without a PM and make the right call most of the time.
• Data fluency: You can query data yourself and make decisions from user behaviour and experiments.
• Comfort with ambiguity: You move forward and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-impact experiments and improve activation and retention.
• Drive outcomes for ARR and growth KPIs; measure and iterate.
• Scale growth systems like in-app messaging and billing workflows.
• Own signup, onboarding, and admin dashboards for a smooth user experience.
