Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to shape modern web experiences for enterprise applications. You will leverage AI-assisted prototyping and design, integrating front-end with backend services using RESTful APIs in a hybrid Dublin-based setting.

You will collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces while mentoring others in front-end best practices and modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, Design, or related field or equivalent experience
• Significant front-end/Web UX development experience
• Experience with React/Angular/Vue or similar tech
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, responsive, accessible design
• Strong front-end design mindset and UX principles
• Experience using AI tools to generate wireframes and prototypes, iterating quickly
• Experience building complex enterprise web apps and integrating with RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible front-end UI for enterprise apps
• Build reusable UI components and design systems for consistency
• Collaborate with product/design/engineering to translate requirements into UI
• Apply performance optimization, state management, cross-browser compatibility
• Assist with backend integration and API/data contracts as needed
• Mentor other engineers in front-end practices and AI-assisted design
• Contribute to docs, component libraries, and engineering standards
