Job summary

IT Search is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a Dublin-based financial services client. You will own end-to-end development of cloud-native, serverless applications using AWS, with a focus on C#/.NET backend and Angular frontend.

Apply Domain-Driven Design to complex financial domains, utilize AI tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, and craft real-time data pipelines in SQL/Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Expert-level C#/.NET skills with OO design and SOLID principles.
• Experience applying DDD concepts to distributed enterprise domains.
• Hands-on AWS serverless (Lambda) and event-driven messaging (Kafka, SQS, SNS).
• Advanced SQL skills; design/optimisation in SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Strong focus on test-first approaches and automation (unit/integration/contract tests).

Job description

A financial services client of ours is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join them. This team builds resilient, high-volume software and data solutions that support the firm's global regulatory obligations across a multi-manager platform.

We are looking for a modern, tech-forward engineer who builds cloud-native, serverless architectures on AWS, models complex financial domains using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and actively uses AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery. You will take end-to-end ownership of full-stack applications—from building responsive Angular front-ends to crafting real-time C#/.NET event-driven backend services and optimizing low-latency SQL/Snowflake data pipelines.

*5 days per week onsite in Dublin City Center

*Initial 6 month contract that is expected to roll/extend

*Daily rate between 550-700 DOE

Requirements:

• Expert-level C#/.NET skills, solid OO design fundamentals, SOLID principles, concurrency, and dependency injection.
• Proven experience applying DDD concepts to complex, distributed enterprise domains.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless (Lambda) and event-driven messaging using Kafka, SQS, or SNS (including JSON/Avro schemas).
• Advanced SQL expertise, schema design, and query tuning across both SQL Server and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Practical, hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in daily software delivery workflows.
• Strong experience with test-first methodologies and automation frameworks across unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Exceptional ability to debug concurrent, distributed systems under high-volume workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
