MongoDB is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the GTM FP&A team. You will drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and partner with executives to influence decision making and resource planning.

This hybrid role in Dublin or Cork requires collaboration with NYC management and stakeholders across the organization, delivering insights and models with a fast paced execution mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or economics preferred.
• 3–5 years FP&A or analytical experience with strong quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and common planning tools; SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM teams to drive planning, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support budgets and headcount.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to guide strategic initiatives and investments.
• Support month‑end close, accrual reviews and variance analysis.
• Standardize and automate reporting to improve decision making.

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to grow our GTM FP&A team. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and partnering with the business to drive decision‑making and resource planning. The Senior Analyst is expected to make significant contributions to the success of MongoDB by working with executives and team leaders to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure strategic business initiatives.

This position requires an adaptable self‑starter who is able to work comfortably and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organization, takes tasks from start to finish and someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, challenging environment. This will be a hybrid role in our Dublin or Cork office for two days per week, reporting to management in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Quickly establish positive relationships and become a key advisor for your GTM partners across the Sales Development, Sales Enablement, Sales Acceleration, and Sales Operations departments allowing you to build a solid understanding of business drivers and ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Forecasting: Build and maintain detailed financial and operating models to support your stakeholders in all aspects of their budgets and forecasts including headcount planning and resource optimization
• Analyzing: Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and build financial models to guide leaders toward efficient operating strategies, resource allocation, and investments in GTM initiatives
• Reporting: Support financial month‑end close activities, including headcount reconciliations, accrual reviews, and budget vs. actuals analysis and financial reporting
• Operational Effectiveness: Improve and scale business, operational, and financial processes understood by all key stakeholders, including standardizing and automating reports and improving how we leverage internal systems and tools

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree; finance, business or economics preferred
• 3-5 years experience in FP&A, and/or analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, NetSuite and Microsoft Excel, financial planning tools (Pigment preferred); SQL know‑how a plus
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization; prior business partnering experience preferred; tech background a plus
• Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
• Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
