Job summary

The role uses preventive maintenance systems under the Facilities Manager, ensuring safe operations and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in construction, QQI Level 6, strong knowledge of building trades, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years post apprenticeship in the construction sector.
• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering & Roofing or related disciplines.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and up-keep facility equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Troubleshoot equipment/plant problems with department leads.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers for continuous improvement and business development.
• Attend internal meetings to establish priorities and assign tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations; participate in Lean Sigma initiatives.
