Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a maintenance technician for our client in Munster, Ireland. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facilities, ensuring reliability and safe operation.

The role supports GMP compliance, quality standards, and regulatory inspections, coordinates spare parts, and collaborates with the Technical Lead and Manufacturing Team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or related discipline.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utilities. Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Support the upkeep of site facilities and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate the procurement of critical maintenance items. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements. Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and site visits. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency. Work collaboratively with the Technical Lead, QP, and Manufacturing Team to support production objectives.

Requirements

Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or related discipline. Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment desirable. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards. Good organisational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
