Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading multinational Pharma client in North Dublin. This 12-month contract role operates on a two-cycle shift pattern, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance of critical production equipment.

The role demands adherence to cGMPs, strict data accuracy, and active participation in safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation skills with GMP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Qualified in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation craft, pharma preferred.
  • 5 years GMP/pharmaceutical maintenance experience is ideal.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills for data entry and reports.
  • Maximo and TrackWise knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support and adhere to established maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain production and facility equipment per maintenance instructions and cGMPs.
  • Record data in real time with accuracy.
  • Escalate issues affecting SLAs or production goals.
  • Identify equipment/process deviations and report to supervisor.

Job description

PE Global is currently recruiting for an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in North Dublin.

This is an initial 12-month contract position working on a 2cycle shift pattern.

ROLE:
  • Support and adhere to established maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain production and facility equipment in strict accordance with maintenance instructions, SOPs, and cGMPs.
  • Complete all required data entries with detail and accuracy in real time.
  • Observe established escalation process for issues impacting established production-related Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and/or fulfilment of production goals.
  • Recognize and report to immediate supervisor any process or equipment anomalies and/or deviations from accepted standards.
  • Provide status updates on maintenance activities and operational challenges according to defined procedures.
  • Execute machine changeovers between batches according to established SOPs and SLAs.
  • Keep work area neat and orderly and observe all safety and compliance procedures.
  • Seek process innovation and continuous process improvement in production area.
  • Complete and conform to all training requirements for job role, including company-required and role-specific training.
  • Carry out and assist in the ongoing training of new and existing personnel, as appropriate.
  • Observe all safety and compliance procedures and actively highlight any safety concerns to help drive the reduction of accidents or near misses.
  • May participate in department initiatives and projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation craft qualification– preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferably 5 years GMP/pharmaceutical maintenance work experience
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Maximo and Track Wise knowledge desirable
