Dublin City Council is seeking a Senior Executive Engineer to lead and manage staff and the work programme across directorates, delivering efficient services within the Corporate Plan. The role involves providing technical and managerial support, liaising with external agencies, and contributing to Value for Money objectives.

The successful candidate will supervise teams up to Executive Engineer grade, drive programmes and projects, and uphold sound employee relations in line with employment

Responsabilités

• Managing and supervising employees up to the position/grade of Executive Engineer or analogous grades and to ensure the training and development of such employees.
• Providing leadership and building effective teams, developing motivation and commitment, and maintaining sound employee relations and morale in accordance with good employment practice and relevant legislation.
• The implementation of programmes and projects across all service areas.
• The supervision and contract administration of construction / operations / maintenance works.
