Job summary

Volkswagen Group Ireland is seeking an experienced automotive diagnostic professional to join our Group Aftersales Technical Team. The role spans Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, CUPRA and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, providing technical support, fault diagnosis and retailer assistance while remaining at the forefront of vehicle technology.

Ideal candidates hold a National Craft Certificate or equivalent, a minimum of five years in diagnostic roles, and High Voltage EV expertise.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Technician with National Craft Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in advanced diagnostic or technical support in automotive.
• Experience with VW Group diagnostic tools and systems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and diagnostic guidance across VW Group brands.
• Perform field visits to support complex cases and diagnostics.
• Mentor technicians in advanced diagnostics and high-voltage systems.
• Represent VGIE at factory technical meetings and share updates with retailers.
• Collaborate with Training, Warranty and Brand teams on improvements.
