Job summary

Jacobs Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support major capital investment programmes across Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors. You will shape cost intelligence for large EPCM-driven projects and lead estimation plans, risk analysis and presentations to clients and senior management.

Ideal candidates bring extensive cost engineering or quantity surveying experience in Life Sciences or related sectors, with EPCM experience and Chartered membership advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in a building, construction or engineering discipline.
• Chartered membership is advantageous.
• Proven experience delivering estimates for large-scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure estimating needs for projects, reporting to Estimating Section Head.
• Deliver high quality, accurate estimates aligned with standards and client expectations.
• Develop and execute estimate plans for assigned projects.
• Perform estimate risk analysis and contingency assessments.
• Present and review estimates with project teams, senior management and clients.
