Job summary

Murphy International Limited is hiring a Senior Estimator to join the Transportation & Infrastructure team in Kildare or Dublin. You will prepare analytical estimates for tenders, attend meetings, and manage changes to tender prices.

The role offers exposure to some of Ireland's largest tenders and requires strong communication and coordination across design, commercial and project teams. You will review ITT documents, prepare BOQs, and contribute to risk and commercial success across

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required and relevant trades exposure.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years' construction experience with site exposure.
• Experience with public sector clients and private sector clients.
• Proven estimating experience in civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start-up meetings and site visits.
• Produce enquiry schedules from tender documents, drawings and specs.
• Identify tender deliverables from Project Designers.
• Evaluate supplier quotations against project specs.
• Prepare BOQs for project scopes using CCS Candy.
• Contribute to risk registers and attend risk meetings.
• Attend tender price settlement meetings with the Chief Estimator.
• Prepare commercial documents for project handover and close out.
