Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Estimator in Ireland to lead cost estimation for major infrastructure projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, analyse project documents and coordinate with engineers and management to ensure accurate cost control.

You will mentor junior estimators, review market conditions and support the reporting cycle for estimate changes. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to work on high-impact projects globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cost management and estimation.
• 5+ years on active civil, rail/transit, airport or commercial construction projects.
• Experience with DBB, DB, CMAR, GMP contracting methods.
• Experience estimating with Candy or CostX.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates to an appropriate level of detail based on design information.
• Analyse documents, drawings and project plans to identify cost factors.
• Continuously evaluate estimates to identify risks or opportunities within budget.
• Communicate findings to senior management, contractors and vendors with reports.
• Obtain up-to-date pricing from databases, contractors and suppliers.
• Review and finalise estimates reflecting current market and project conditions.
• Mentor junior estimators and support reporting on estimate changes.
