Elite Talent Hub is representing a leading international engineering and construction contractor seeking an experienced Civil Estimator in Kildare, Ireland. You will drive pre-construction and tendering efforts, producing robust estimates for transportation and infrastructure projects while coordinating with estimating, engineering, commercial and operations teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor/degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience as Civil Estimator, Senior Estimator or similar in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with roads/highways, utilities, earthworks and major infrastructure works.

Mansioni

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil/infrastructure projects.
• Review tender docs, drawings, specs and BOQ to establish project requirements.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and develop cost breakdowns for labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Estimate earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, reinforced concrete and structures.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations.
• Assess methodologies, programmes, site logistics and temporary works for estimates.
• Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities during tendering.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, procurement and commercial teams on tender strategy.
• Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings and client clarification meetings.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Maintain estimating records and cost databases.
