Job summary

Tyndall National Institute, based in Cork, Ireland, seeks an experienced Maintenance Project Lead to oversee large-scale tooling replacements and system upgrades across the campus. The role involves coordinating space allocation, tool purchase, delivery, installation, and commissioning while ensuring safe, on-time delivery and minimal disruption to research operations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in semiconductor equipment maintenance and upgrades.
• 10+ years in relevant field within industrial or R&D environments.
• Experience leading equipment installations and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for equipment installation and upgrades.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling and resources across departments.
• Manage vendor engagement, installation logistics, and handover to operations.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and documentation throughout projects.
